GRP and Fibreglass Components for Leisure and Theme Park Applications

Henleycraft has been manufacturing GRP and fibreglass components for the leisure sector from its Portsmouth facility since 1960. We supply theme parks, water parks, leisure centres and outdoor venues with bespoke fibreglass components, with customers including Legoland, Centre Parcs and Paultons Park.

Our leisure work spans a broad range of applications. We manufacture people dryers for water parks and swimming pools, with installations at Legoland and Southampton Swimming Pool among them. Decorative components include imitation bamboo railing posts for Centre Parcs holiday parks and bespoke themed features for leisure environments. We also produce water features, slides, mobile climbing walls and outdoor furniture including the Solent Lounger, Henleycraft's own GRP sun lounger design.

Components for water park and pool applications are produced with smooth water-contact finishes for slides and wet surfaces, and slip-resistant gelcoat finishes for walkways and surrounds. Outdoor components can be manufactured with UV-resistant gelcoats and weatherproof construction. Surfaces are hygienic and easy to clean, making them well suited to pool and leisure environments. We offer imitation and decorative finishes for themed applications, and components can be supplied in matched colours to brand or theme specifications. GRP is significantly lighter than traditional materials, simplifying installation across a wide range of leisure settings.

For new projects we can work from drawings or early-stage concepts, producing patterns in our dedicated pattern shop by hand crafting, CNC routing or 3D printing. Customers can review and approve a prototype before committing to production. For established products we provide reliable ongoing supply.
