GRP and Fibreglass Components for Industrial and Engineering Applications

Henleycraft has been manufacturing GRP and fibreglass components for industrial and engineering applications from its Portsmouth facility since 1960. Our industrial work spans a broad range of sectors and applications, with customers including Southern Water, Kenco and Haskins.

The range of components we produce for industrial use is extensive. Enclosures and housings include CCTV enclosures, ticket machine housings, hot drinks machine trays and medical machinery covers. For outdoor and public-facing installations we produce kiosks, road signs, shop front and garden centre signage, ventilation louvres and access hatches. We also manufacture baffles for the water industry, dry riser covers and railway trackside enclosures. Larger engineering projects have included wind turbine nacelles comprising the outer shell, nose cone and access hatch, as well as replica gramophone horns and specialist components across a range of industrial programmes.

All outdoor components are manufactured with UV-resistant gelcoats and weatherproof construction suitable for external installation. Parts can be supplied in matched RAL or custom colours for branded kiosks and signage. Smooth hygienic gelcoat finishes are available for food and drink equipment. We offer EMF-shielding composites for CCTV and electronics enclosures, fire-retardant laminates for machinery covers and public-facing installations, and hardware or fittings installed before despatch. GRP is significantly lighter than metal or steel alternatives, making it a practical choice across a wide range of industrial applications.

For new projects we can work from customer drawings or an early-stage concept, producing patterns in our dedicated pattern shop by hand crafting, CNC routing or 3D printing. Customers can review and approve a prototype before committing to production. For established products we provide reliable ongoing supply.
